Neighborhood

Hardly any region in the triangle between Germany-The Netherlands-Belgium has a more beautiful countryside than the Herver Land, also knows as the "Butter land". Whether its castles, monasteries, churches, original nature or its typical small villages, every place is a discovery of its own. Hiking, riding or biking can be done on the RAVel-street (Reseau Autonome de Voies Lentes) - along the former railway (40 km in total) - which leads you through the Herver Land to the gates of Liege.

For hiking friends, the Voeren Land is a true oasis  with abundant fruit vegetation, pure nature, castles and little villages. The Voeren Land is part of Belgium's Limburg and is only a few kilometers away.

Chateau Crawhez is situated along the well known "Castle and Stately home" - route.
